Whether you’re chasing musky, walleye, bass, or pike, the French River offers some of the best fishing in Ontario – and the Tilted Toque is right in the heart of it.

Cabins Built for Fishing Groups

Our cabins are perfect for small groups or larger fishing trips with friends.

Each cabin includes:

  • two bedrooms
  • four beds
  • full kitchen
  • BBQ
  • waterfront access

With multiple cabins available, groups can easily book several cabins together and enjoy the entire lodge atmosphere.

Many of our guests return each year for their annual fishing trip with the same group of friends.

Fish All Day

The Upper French River is known for:

  • walleye

  • bass

  • northern pike

From early morning casts to evening fishing runs, there are endless spots to explore.

Our guests often spend full days on the water and come back to the lodge to clean fish, relax, and share stories from the day.

Evenings at the Lodge

After a day on the water, evenings at the Tilted Toque are all about relaxing.

Planning Your French River Fishing Trip

The Tilted Toque is located on the Upper French River in Northern Ontario, within easy driving distance of Southern Ontario. Many of our guests load up the truck, meet up with their fishing crew, and head north for a few days of great fishing, amazing views, and even better company.

Many groups plan trips for:

Our cabins are simple, comfortable, and perfect for anglers, giving you the freedom to cook your own meals, fish your own schedule, and enjoy the river at your own pace.

Cabins for the 2026 season are $275 / night (up to 4 guests) PER CABIN, NOT PER PERSON!

With multiple cabins available, it’s easy to plan trips for large or small fishing groups who want to hang out together in the lodge (which is also available for group meals).
